Now it’s time to show the world your novel wormery design!
You can submit your work any time from Tuesday 18th May until Friday 18th June. You will receive a Certificate of Achievement and will have the option to have your work showcased in our online gallery. If you are aged 16-18, you can also choose to be considered for an opportunity to undertake work experience or mentoring at retailer Zero Waste Organics, which will be offered to a student in this age group who submits an outstanding piece of work.
What do I need to submit?
- Your 2-3 sentence reflection (from Step 1) about what you learned about earthworms and worm farming
- Your 2-3 sentences about what you learned about the example you explored (from Step2)
- The detailed sketch of your wormery design (Step 3)
- A brief description (3-4 sentences) of your final concept that answers the following questions:
- What is creative or fun about your design?
- Where would your wormery be located?
- What materials will it be made from?
Bonus: Participants in the FIDA Challenges are encouraged to make a physical prototype of their concept. However, this step is not required for participation. If you chose to make a physical prototype of your wormery concept, we'd love to see it! Feel free to add an image of it to your final submission.
