In this section, you'll look at examples of clever approaches to improving public health through handwashing from around the world. You'll also see examples of creative strategies used to try to make people and communities change their behaviour.  This is your precedent research.  These precedents will inspire you to think of ideas for a new kind of handwashing device for your community that combines this important purpose with novelty, resourcefulness, and fun!

Part B: Activity (to be included in your final submission)

Write 2-3 sentences about why you picked this precedent. In your response, answer the following questions: 

1. Why is the precedent you chose interesting to you? 
2. How is it a novel approach to providing handwashing capabilities or changing behaviours?
